Copeman's Capsaicin Label
Copeman’s Capsaicin is s small business located in Southeast Minnesota. He sells pepper and other plants during the spring time and from his own supply of hot peppers and other home grown ingredients he produces, packages, and sells hot sauces along with other hot pepper products.
The design brief was to make an identity for an up and coming hot sauce line made by a local small business. He wanted the main design of the labels to showcase the ingredients used in the hot sauces in a fun way but something that was still approachable and professional to consumers.
The outcome of the design was made by using simplistic stylized iconographic versions of the ingredients. There is a playful yet modern feeling to each label. The main details of the label such as names, color band, and other information are repeated throughout the designs and colors vary based on hot sauce color and hotness.
