Paul Rand Exhibition Catalogue
Paul Rand was an art director as well as graphic designer that made successful corporate logos, posters and book designs/layouts during his 60 year long career before he passed away in 1996.
The objective was to create an exhibition catalogue for a famous artist. The requirements were for it to include at least 2000 words that convey the artists’ life, what they have accomplished during their career, at least 24 photographs of their work, and the place their exhibition is being held.
The outcome I created primarily used one color that complemented Rands' work and connected him to SAAM, the place of his exhibition. Using a simplified grid system that varies by page helped to create a successful exhibition catalogue for the designer Paul Rand, I was able to create this piece.
